Even though the company stopped making it’s own smartphones, North American TLC Communication took over the brand in 2016 and added it to their portfolio.

TLC launched the BlackBerry KeyOne in February 2017 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, promoting it as ‘distinctly different, distinctly BlackBerry – built to last. And that’s exactly what WECREATE has been challenged to do with the new BlackBerry web design. Blackberry’s signature is and always has been Dynamic, Purposeful and Confident. Their product is designed with these brand attributes in mind and the website is about to follow.

In technology things change fast and TLC acknowledges a new CMS system is needed to better service the brand’s global customer base. WECREATE is in charge of this implementation as well as creating the re-design of the site’s UX and UI design. The aim is to improve the navigation experience, to make a visit to the site more purposeful and responsive for both the customer and the brand and to provide an easier, more dynamic way in which the user can interact with the brand. All of this will of course be done in the confident BlackBerry style we have grown so attached to.

Keep your finger on the pulse for the soon to be revealed new BlackBerry website as WECREATE will adopt design sprints in the execution of this project – a method that allows the team to go through the entire process of web design, prototyping and testing with customers within days rather than months. We don’t wait – WECREATE!
