‘Success usually comes to those who are too busy looking for it’ -Henry David Thoreau. And boy have we had a busy first five months of the year at WECREATE! What we’ve been up to hasn’t gone unnoticed by our peers though. Hot off the press we’ve just received news that WECREATE takes home a Bronze, Silver and Gold from the 11th Annual IDA Awards.
Since 2007 the International Design Awards (IDA) exists to recognize, celebrate and promote legendary design visionaries and to uncover emerging talent in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic, and Fashion Design. In the category Graphic / Multimedia IDA focuses on finding those who have created projects that are bold, exciting and different with a clear identity. WECREATE lives and breathes this craft and we’re incredibly proud to have been recognized x3 by this international organization.
The work we created for our client Droneart – the art of building drones won bronze for its user interface design in te category Multimedia-Interface Design and gold for its overall web design in te category Multimedia-Website Design.
For both Droneart and WECREATE this project has been a great success. Droneart’s conversion rate and SEO dramatically increased after the new website was introduced and user experience improved significantly. Users of the new site feel connected and invested because of the available tools made available to them. This was the client’s goal and WECREATE was able to execute it in a way that is effective, relevant and visually attractive.
Our campaign site for Castel – Come Travel With Castel – won silver in the Graphic subcategory Multimedia-Online Advertising Design. WECREATE was challenged in this project to design a standalone website to promote a lucky draw campaign. The overarching aim of this campaign was to improve brand awareness for this Hong Kong based client. The campaign website that WECREATE designed made the client stand out in the market and sales of the specific lucky draw wine went up by more than 300%. The lucky draw campaign-website generated both a tremendous increase in brand awareness and sales.
On top of this, WECREATE’s own re-branding project – practice what you preach – received an Honorable Mention by IDA. This in-house project turned WECREATE into its own most critical client and gave us an invaluable understanding of a client’s needs. Because of it WE now CREATE better.
We are thrilled with the acknowledgement of the IDA and will continue to strive for excellence in everything we do.
